Graeme Logan
Graeme loved, lived and breathed radio from his days at school. He began working on adult hospital radio in Edinburgh and helped set up an exclusive studio for the Eastern General, a project he worked on for six years.
From there, whilst working in Marketing during the day, he worked voluntarily for Radio Lolipop. Having the Sick Kids bopping day and night. He was involved in going out on Gala days and showing off the Roadshow Unit (a tension reliever).
He saw the future of radio in Community Stations and worked with All Edinburgh Radio, then SERVE Radio and was invited along to see what was happening with Leith FM. He presented 3 shows for 7 years since 2005. He found a niche where he could play music from the 60′s to the present day, and more importantly, could bring guests from Groups and Charities in the community. This let everyone know what was going on, how groups can help and how, as individuals we can help each other.
Here on East Lothian FM you can hear Graeme Logan every Thursday and Friday between 10am and 12pm on the Brunch Show. Catch the infamous features Old, New, Borrowed and Blue; Featured Album, The Vintage Vibes, Short Story, In The Year and the Brunch Competitions; Tartan Teaser and Pop The Question (giving you the chance to win a Graeme Logan Radio Show Pen). Guests also include new bands, singers and known celebrities talking about their careers to date. You just never know who’s going to be interviewed.
You can also hear Graeme presenting other music shows including In the Year and Musical Topics.
In the Year each time chooses a year ever since the music charts began and plays the number one single and informs you of the news stories from that time.
